Topic: Tax Planning

Have a tax problem you haven't been able to resolve with the IRS? The Taxpayer Advocate Service will assist taxpayers in person at its upcoming Problem Solving Day. Representatives of the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) will be available to help taxpayers and their tax professionals with their unresolved IRS tax problems. TAS will provide one-to-one guidance, direction on next steps, and case building ideas. If a tax professional's client's problem meets theTAS criteria, TAS will assign a Case Advocate to work with the tax professional to resolve the taxpayer's issue. Representatives of the Taxpayer Assistance Center, Legal Service of New Jersey, and Rutgers Law School will be available to help unrepresented taxpayers with their unresolved IRS tax problems. Representatives of VITA & United Way of Passaic County and the Small Business Development Center will be also available to help unrepresented taxpayers and the owners of small businesses. www.sbdcbergen.com
