NJ Department of Labor: Business Resources

The NJ DOL focus is to help companies hire and retain qualified employees to meet their business needs. We have a variety of programs to help your recruiting and growth. Skills Partnership focuses on assisting your existing employees. The Opportunity Grant can be used to train multiple new employees, through a provider, who need certification. The Employer Partnership Grant can be used to train a new employee on-the-job for a specific piece of equipment or proprietary software. There are both registered apprenticeships and grants for paid internships to help develop your talent. Something new that might be of interest is the Growing Apprenticeships in Non- Traditional Sectors (GAINS) program. Federal Bonding
