The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) has announced Phase 4 of its Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program. This $85 million grant program will support New Jersey small businesses and nonprofits impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and will be capitalized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Phase 4 will provide short-term operating support to a broad group of New Jersey small and medium sized businesses and non-profits that have been negatively impacted during the declared state of emergency. Any business or entity that intends to apply for a grant must first pre-register during this pre-registration period, which will run now through April 29, 2021 to 5:00 p.m.

Watch this webinar if you own a registered New Jersey small business, micro-business and/or nonprofits operational prior that is still operational and has suffered losses related to business interruption during the pandemic. Grant awards will be calculated based on the number of full-time equivalent employees (FTEs) businesses employ.
