Workshop will take place in the building of Rutgers Business School - North Tower, 100 Rockafeller Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854. Online Marketing Workshop(9am-2pm, $85) Part 1: Manage Your Online Presence The Internet has changed. More than a place to publish your website, the Internet provides business owners with a multitude of avenues to reach their target audience and tell their story. This includes websites, social media properties like Facebook and Twitter, and video sites like YouTube and Vimeo. This workshop teaches business owners how to manage their online presence, including branding, message marketing, social media marketing and email marketing. Included will be topics such as: • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) • Facebook Management for Busy Business Owners • Should You Be Using Twitter? • LinkedIn Strategies • What Website Platform is Best? WordPress? Wix? Weebly? Something Else? Part 2: Create & Market Your Own Video Video marketing is the most effective form of marketing for SMBs. Videos let potential customers get a better understanding of your business and the value you offer. They are also well adapted to mobile and tablet users, who will gladly watch a video but are seldom interested in reading more than headlines or a few sentences. Videos are also perfect for social media marketing, which is often the greatest source for new online traffic. You will learn how to make inexpensive, yet professional videos for your business. If paying at the door, please arrive 15 -20 minutes early. A scratch-off parking tag will be provided to you upon arrival. The tag should be then displayed inside your vehicle. Park your vehicle in Scarlett Lot located behind big glass building of the Rutgers Business School. Our office is on the 2nd floor in the red brick Janice H. Levin building that is across the street from the parking lot and RBS.
