Topic: Business Basics

Have coffee and pastries with our local SBA and SBDC liaisons!!! Based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and network over a million cups of coffee, the Kauffman Foundation developed 1 Million Cups - a program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs with their communities. Typically, on Wednesday mornings, one or two early-stage businesses present their companies to their communities. Every event is free and the entrepreneurial community is welcome and invited to attend! The SBDC at Kean University (along with the SBA) will be featured this day. Government funded services to assist small business owners in growing their business and those looking to go into business will be discussed. The unusual opportunity to meet one-on-one with a representative of the United States Small Business Administration can't be missed!! 1 Million Cups is new to Union County (in a collaboration with the Marketing & Management department in the College of Business at Kean University) and the first one in New Jersey. Learn about both! Please come to learn more and be a part of this!
